Tionne Tenese Watkins is most known for her stage name T-Boz, who rose to fame in the early 1990s as a member of the girl-group TLC.
T-Boz opens up about the group’s success and how it all changed when Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes died. She says that the whole industry turned on them, but that doesn’t hinder her talent. She had to find her new normal.
She also touches on all of the conspiracy theories surrounding Lisa’s death, including that she may still be alive. T-Boz adds that she’s gone, and finds it disrespectful that the fans remind her of Lisa’s death date.
She also opened up about working with L. A Reid, and how the industry who built artists up, can be the same ones who tear them down. She adds that there are a lot of internet things out right now. Social media gives miserable a platform to make others feel the way they do.
