UPDATE: Ghislaine Maxwell Has Been Taken Off Suicide Watch At Brooklyn Jail
Ghislaine Maxwell previously expressed concern about dying in jail like her late pal, Jeffery Epstein. She was placed on suicide watch at the Brooklyn jail where she is being kept ahead of her sex crimes trial. But, according to the latest updates by the Daily Mail, she was recently taken off. However, lawyers say the 58-year-old British socialite is being subjected to multiple searches each day and is under constant watch of the guards.
Although Maxwell reportedly had trouble adjusting to solitary confinement at the BK lockup, it looks like she’s getting a little comfortable with jail life as attorneys for Maxwell have asked a federal judge on Monday to direct the Bureau of Prisons to release her into the general population of the federal facility.
Her lawyers want the searches and surveillance to be stopped while requesting that she be taken out of solitary confinement and placed in with other prisoners. Her legal team notes that she is only being subjected to the “onerous” conditions because her friend Jeffrey Epstein died while awaiting trial, in what was ruled a “suicide.”
As the news site notes, they argue that she “has never been suicidal and was never diagnosed as exhibiting risk factors for suicide,” but is still woken up during the night and is forced to wear special clothing. Lawyer Chris Everdell also wrote in a letter that she has also been forced to undergo body scans, and is observed even while calling her attorneys.
“Ms. Maxwell is being treated worse than other similarly situated pretrial detainees, which significantly impacts her ability to prepare a defense,” he said in the letter which asks that Maxwell “be released to the general population and be granted the privileges given to other pretrial detainees.”
In order to properly prepare for trial, they’re also asking for her to be given more computer time in order to review the reams of documents relating to her case. “Maxwell cannot prepare for or receive a fair trial without this information,” her lawyers argued.
As we previously reported, Maxwell is facing a total of six counts: four relating to child sex trafficking, and two of perjury for lying under oath about the trafficking during a previous lawsuit. Now, if she is convicted on all charges, she is facing up to 35 years behind bars.

Last Remaining Blockbuster Store Turned Into AirBnB To Host End Of Summer Sleepover
We are stuck indoors right now, but gone are the days of driving down to your local Blockbuster store for a Friday night flick.
Most of the stores are currently non-existent, but Sandi Harding, the manager of the last surviving Blockbuster in Bend, Oregon, is transforming the store into an Airbnb for just three nights only to mark the end of the summer with an epic sleepover.
Those who manage to secure a reservation will get the keys to the entire store, all the movies, games. There will be a living room accompanied by a pull-out couch, bean bags, lamps, and pillows. You will also get free pizza, Pepsi, candy, and popcorn!
According to the site, reservations can be made from Monday at 1 PM PT, however, you have to be a resident of Deschutes County to book the Blockbuster for one night. The overnight sleepovers are set for Sept. 18-20 and the place accommodates up to four people. Apparently, it is only $4 a night! There will be face masks and hand sanitizer on-site because 2020 hasn’t forgotten about us.
Sandi said she wanted to give the opportunity to the locals for their support of the store over the years.

Fat Joe Calls Drake The “Michael Jackson Of This Time,” Social Media Reacts
Fat Joe recently hopped on Instagram Live to chop it up with fellow rapper Rick Ross. While talking about a number of things including the rap game, the two talked a little about Drake, and gave him props for his talent and successful career.
During their conversation, Ross showed love to Drizzy while discussing their relationship. “The love is genuine and it’s been like that for close to a decade now since he came in the game,” he said. He also told Joe that Drake has thanked him for supporting him early on in his career by giving him gifts including Rolexes. “The love is genuine between us,” Ross shared.
Joe also praised Drake for dominating the charts and even went as far as to declare him the Michael Jackson of this generation. Jimmy Winfrey, the guy accused of shooting at Lil Wayne’s bus in 2015 has copped a plea deal.
According to new legal documents obtained by TMZ, Winfrey has pled guilty to 2 counts of violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act. Now, as part of the deal, prosecutors have dropped a number of other charges including 4 counts of violation of the RICO Act, along with 6 other counts of violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act. In addition to that, 12 counts of aggravated assault, 2 counts of criminal damage to property in the first degree, and 1 count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, the gossip site notes.
As we previously reported, Winfrey also accused Birdman and Young Thug of having something to do with the shooting but he was ultimately blamed for the crime. Winfrey was looking at 20 years in the slammer but sentenced to 7 years instead. TMZ notes that his conviction was overturned in 2018 and will be credited for time served. Although he is set to be released, his lawyer Steve Sadow, tells the news site that the reason his client isn’t out yet is due to an unrelated outstanding warrants case. Sadow apsndropped an important note, saying Winfrey entered a ”special kind of guilty plea” where his client maintains his innocence, even despite initially pleading guilty.
As part of the sentence, he’s also gotta pay $100k in restitution to Alvin Lewis, the bus driver.
Putin Claims Russia Has Developed First Coronavirus Vaccine — Says His Daughter Has Taken It
Socialites get into this: Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the approval of a coronavirus vaccine for use on Tuesday, claiming it as a “world first.”
“A vaccine against coronavirus has been registered for the first time in the world this morning,” Putin said on state TV. “I know that it works quite effectively, it forms a stable immunity.” He added, “I hope our foreign colleagues’ work will move as well, and a lot of products will appear on an international market that could be used.”
The Russian leader added that one of his two adult daughters has already received two shots of the vaccine! “She has taken part in the experiment,” Putin explained that she had a slightly higher temperature after each dose, but that: “Now she feels well,” CNN quotes. He didn’t specify which of his two daughters — Maria or Katerina — received the vaccine. While speaking at the government meeting on Tuesday, he also emphasized that vaccination will be voluntary.
As Fox News notes, the Health Ministry said in a Tuesday statement that the vaccine is expected to provide immunity from the coronavirus for up to two years. Large-scale production of the vaccine will start in September, and mass vaccination may begin as early as October, Russian officials said, according to the news site.
They added that medical workers, teachers , and other risk groups will be the first to be inoculated.

Fans Bring Up CeeLo Green’s Old Rape Charges After He Bashed Female Rappers For Their Adult Content
As we previously reported, Far Out recently published their latest interview with musician CeeLo Green where he criticized a few female rappers for their adult content. The 45-year-told the outlet: “You have the ‘Heads of State,’ like Nicki Minaj or someone who is up there in accolade: success, visibility, a platform to influence. Nicki could be effective in so many other constructive ways, but it feels desperate.”

His bold comments did not sit with the rapper’s fans. Many of them quickly took to social media to remind Mr. Green that he is no saint himself. Not only did Twitter users share his old songs like, “Closet Freak” which included raunchy lyrics as well, but others also brought up the rape charges that were brought against him following an alleged incident that occurred in 2012. One Twitter user said, “Ceelo was sued for date rape and in his defense claimed it isn’t rape if the victim is unconscious, so he should probably shut all the way the f*ck up.” Another user quoted Green who once said in a since-deleted 2014 tweet: “If someone is passed out they’re not even WITH you consciously! so WITH Implies consent.” The fan added, “Green is the last person who should be giving an opinion on anything related to women expressing themselves.”

Green’s charges of sexual battery against him were later dropped because of insufficient evidence. However, he was charged with furnishing a woman with ecstasy, the maximum sentence for which is four years in jail. As TMZ notes, the victim claimed that he drugged her at a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles with ecstasy, and then she woke up naked with Green, remembering nothing from the previous evening. At the time this all happened, Green issued a statement saying that the claims were “despicable, untrue, and deeply hurtful.”
After the Grammy-winning singer pleaded no contest in August 2014 to furnishing the woman with drugs, he was ordered to serve three years on probation, perform 45 days of community service and attend 52 drug and alcohol counseling sessions.
