It is reported that in the first quarter of the Bills’ game tonight against the Cincinnati Bengals, the NFL baller was injured.

Since Hamlin’s collapse, the game was temporarily suspended and later postponed according to NFL officials. And, all the players were taken into their respective locker rooms after the 24-year-old football player collapsed on the field in the middle of the game.

Sports announcer Joe Buck said that first responders “frantically” administered emergency CPR for “many minutes.” Hamlin fell at 8:53 p.m. and remained down for more than 15 minutes.

He was given oxygen and then he was placed onto a stretcher, connected to an IV and carried into an ambulance and rushed to the nearest hospital, which happens to be the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

According to FOX19, Hamlin had a pulse as he was being transported off the field, but was not breathing on his own. He has since been intubated.

Social Media Cancels Skip Bayless For Posting Insensitive Tweet As Buffalo Bills Safety Damar Hamlin Fights For His Life

Following the horrific incident, sports commentator Skip Bayless was put under fire, with social media trying to cancel him over a few insensitive tweets he posted online as Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin fights for his life.

After Hamlin horrifically collapsed on the field tonight after a hard hit, the game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals was postponed.

Like many on social media, fans reacted. Included was Skip Bayless.

Skip took to his Twitter and tweeted, “No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how? This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems to irrelevant.”

Immediately Skip caught backlash wish other Twitter users calling him out for being insensitive, pushing for him to finally be cancelled.

Skip ended up issuing something of an apology. He said, “Nothing is more important than that young man’s health. That was the point of my last tweet. I’m sorry if that was misunderstood, but his health is all that matters. Again, everything else is irrelevant. I prayed for him & will continue to.”
