Bride Disappointed After Ordering $100 Wedding Dress From Wish

A Canadian bride-to-be claims to be heartbroken after she received a $100 wedding dress she ordered from the online retail app Wish.

News AU reports Meaghan Taylor,23, bought the wedding dress through Wish which displayed a floor-length, lace off-the-shoulder gown. However, the young woman said she was “heartbroken” once she tried on the dress after it stopped passed her knees and didn’t fit her properly.

“On another episode of what we ordered and what we actually got. My face tells exactly how I’m feeling.” was blown away by what I received. It looked nothing like the photo when I ordered it. I was pretty heartbroken, but I couldn’t help but laugh.”

However, she asked for a refund from the app but the company denied her request.

“I did ask for my money back. But they had told me I needed the original packaging and the box it had come in, which I didn’t keep.I then proceeded to tell them that this ruined my wedding as I was expecting the dress in the photo,” she said. “And they finally returned my money.”

Taylor is currently halting her wedding plans due to the coronavirus pandemic but she hopes the photos would bring some joy into someone’s life.
