The 2016 incident that led Angelina Jolie to file for divorce from Brad Pitt was more volatile than one would’ve thought — at least according to the FBI report. Earlier this week, it was reported that the mother of six was the anonymous tipster identified as “Jane Doe,” who urged for an investigation behind the alleged altercation that took place on a private jet when Pitt was said to have gotten “verbally and physically” abusive towards his then-wife.
Police and social services were looking into the allegations, including the assertion that Pitt was drunk during the flight and started to get physical with his family, but as no evidence was found to support the claims, the investigation was ultimately dropped. This, according to reports, later led Jolie to tip the FBI, which the bureau received a “Jane Doe” plaintiff who said Pitt got violent with not just the mother of six — whose head he allegedly grabbed and poured beer over — but also their children during the flight.

Several news publications have since acquired the entire FBI report, with Entertainment Tonight revealing how Jolie had asked Pitt if everything was okay during the plane flight, to which he allegedly responded, “That kid looks like a f**king Columbine kid. You don’t know what you’re doing.” The comment seemingly referred to the 1999 Colorado mass shooting at Columbine High School, where 12 children lost their lives by fellow students Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris.
Further in the FBI report, Jolie is said to have accused Pitt of “grabb[ing] her head, shaking her, followed by grabbing her at the shoulders and shaking her. You’re f***king up this family.”
The “Maleficent” star then said that she didn’t know how to defend herself in the situation and simply stood in disbelief, “scared and didn’t know what to do” while her children appeared “shell-shocked” and frightened of the physical encounter they had witnessed between their parents.
The private jet was drenched in red wine, which led to damages of $25,000 for the stains that were left behind when the family had finally gotten off the aircraft. But when the plane had landed, Pitt apparently yelled at Jolie, stressing, “You’re not f**k going anywhere. You’re not getting off this f**k plane. F**k you all. I’m f***ing leaving you.”

A source familiar with the situation has since reacted to the FBI report filed by Jolie, noting that the bureau had already decided not to pursue any further actions against Pitt given the lack of evidence to the claims. “She had this information for nearly six years and even used it in previous legal proceedings, so filing an anonymous FOIA request for something she already had serves no purpose other than to inflict pain. This benefits no one.”
