Bow Wow Showers Ciara With Her Flowers And Says He Hopes She Could One Day Co-Headline ‘The Millennium Tour’ With Him: ‘She 100 Million Percent Deserves It’

Bow Wow is not only giving Ciara her flowers, but he hopes that one day soon she can co-headline with him for ‘The Millennium Tour,’ or alike.

While recently appearing on Cam Newton’s podcast, ‘Funky Friday’,’ Bow Wow gave his ex-fiancée and former collaborator Ciara her well-deserved flowers. 

During the interview, Cam Newton asked Bow Wow if he could build his own tour, what would the lineup look like? He said:

“I would start in my hometown [Columbus, Ohio]. And here’s the bill. My opener—this is tough. I’m swinging for the fence. Gelo [LiAngelo Ball] is my opener. He’s young, got a hot record and just dropped another record with Glo [GloRilla]. I would have my DJ, DJ JUS, start and [set the vibes]. After Gelo—well, me and CB [Chris Brown] are headlining. Me and Chris, back and forth. That’s my man. Me and Brown at the top, give me Gelo at the bottom. My co-headliner, give me Ciara. No cap. Give me CiCi for the co-head. And the two spots in the middle? Honestly, I just thinking about one more person to put—another rapper who got 7-8 joints. Man, f**k it. All I need is me, CB, and Ci. That’s all I need.”

Newton brought up the respect that Bow clearly has for Ciara, someone he was once engaged to and have since split and moved on. Speaking on her artistry and talent, Bow said:

“I feel as an artist, she’s so talented, she dances still—she did the tour with Missy [Elliott]—she dances just as hard now as she did back then. When you talk about appearance, when you talk about seeing a tour, appearance is everything. We got guys on our tour now, appearances going viral. They don’t look how they did 3, 4, 5 years ago. That’s important. My manager stays on me about that sh*t.”

Bow Wow Gives Ciara Her Flowers: ‘She’s Deserving’

Bow Wow continued to give Ciara her flowers:

“I just feel like, she’s deserving—if it was up to me, she would’ve been on the ‘Millennium Tour.’ Co-headlining for sure. I just feel like she’s deserving of her flowers. 3 million records out the gate. That’s the same thing that I did. [She] dances her a** off, you’re going to be entertained. She has the music. She has the hits. She has a show. Why not? We have a number one record together, which is ‘Like You,’ and it will ring off for the rest of life.

Hopefully—and really, I’m speaking for the fans, because everything that I do, concert and show wise, is for the fans’ POV. For them to see me and her on that stage doing ‘Like You.’ [Seeing] where we’re at in our lives today—as parents and we made it through, she’s married and me being where I’m at—that sh*t would put the stamp on the whole culture. If we could possibly make that happen.”

Bow Wow Envisions Co-Headlining A Tour With Ciara

When asked if he’s worked with Ciara since breaking things off in their personal lives, Bow Wow confirmed yes. He said they reunited professionally in Australia. He said, “We’ve gotten close. In Australia, we did this Super Fest. It was with myself, The Game, Snoop [Dogg], Busta Rhymes], Ciara. All of us. I was like, ‘Yo, we got to do this record.’ But at that time, she was in a situation and I respected it.

Bow Wow continued to speak on he and Ciara, and how she is “100 million percent” deserving of her flowers and how culturally historic it would be to co-headline together. He said:

“I just feel like, everyday we grow. As the clock ticks, we’re getting older. And when you look on leaving your mark in this business, sometimes it’s just bigger than you and I. It’s a moment that I feel like every artist deserves that moment. I couldn’t imagine, 90,000, in my head where I’m visualizing this at—her coming out that riser on that part, I might throw the mic in the audience and literally just leave the stadium.

Because I would know, in my mind, no one’s f***ing with this sh*t. I don’t care who’s hot. I don’t care who’s popping. I don’t care. You better have your phones out to just get that. Just that moment from music, I just feel like she’s owed that. I know she did the Missy tour, but I’m talking about the ‘Millennium Tour,’ our brand. That ‘Scream Tour,’ she’s gonna get her roses on that sh*t. That’s the DNA of it all. She deserves it. Without a doubt she deserves it. 100 million percent deserves it. And hopefully we can make it happen. For sure, for sure.”
