Beyonce fans were left somewhat confused after noticing that the singer’s dance captain Ashley Everett had liked our previous post about social media users blaming Bey for Chloe Bailey’s low album sales. As previously reported, Bailey dropped her debut project, “In Pieces,” on March 31, which went on to sell around 11,000 copies in its first week, and placed at number 119 on Billboard’s Hot 200. A lot of people on Twitter seemed to think that if Beyonce had helped promote the record by posting about it on her social platforms, it would’ve helped boost Bailey’s sales.
Well, the Bey-hive took notice that Everett had liked the post and their reaction was far from positive, with some speculating whether there was some sort of tension behind the scenes that fans weren’t aware of. Others argued that Everett probably liked the post by mistake considering she’s been working with Bey for well over a decade and regards her as a friend. Needless to say, Everett clarified the situation by commenting under @beyonceacessbr’s post, writing, “Thank you for bringing this directly to me and not assuming anything! I def thought it read underrated cause we worked so MF HARD,” accompanied by several crying emojis.

Apparently, Everett had misread a comment under the post that said Beyonce was an overrated performer and instead ended up liking the IG post. Everett liking the post comes just two months after Page Six claimed Beyonce allegedly had her old dancers audition “to regain their spots” but Bey “will be more open to fresh new young talent taking on the reigns.” The source added, “She is looking for young women and men — and also a few new band members as well — to take on the new positions on her team.”
As previously revealed, the “Cuff It” singer announced her tour back in February, with her first show set to take place in Stockholm, Sweden on May 10. It’s undoubtedly one of the most anticipated world tours of the year, with a whopping 57 shows running until September.
News of Beyonce’s reported decision to welcome new dancers isn’t the only change that fans will supposedly notice on the tour as she’s also looking to hire new bandmates and backup singers, as one source described it as her being “out with the old and in with the new.”
“With a world tour comes a whole new staff and that includes the dancers, bandmates, and backup singers,” the insider said. “Her last tour was the ‘On The Run Tour II’ back in 2018 with Jay-Z. So she will be sure to deliver– but with a new tour comes a brand new staff so she has been auditioning a whole new team.”
The Renaissance tour is in support of Beyonce’s latest album, “Renaissance,” which she released last summer.
