A Brazilian baby girl reached memetic status moments after leaving the womb due to her unforgettable angry face.
The New York Post reports Isabela Periera de Jesus became an internet star after doctors performed a C-section on her mother Feb.13 in Rio de Janeiro. Photographer Rodrigo Kunstmann said the newborn baby girl did not cry when she was pulled out of her mother Daiane de Jesus Barbosa’s womb:

Barbosa called her baby girl “courageous” during an interview with the Brazilian news outlet G1 and noted her instant internet fame.
“It’s a meme already. She always wrinkles her forehead when changing diapers and nursing. Isabela was supposed to be born on the 20th, but she chose her day already showing her personality,”
The New York Post also noted that Isabela might have been conceived on the day of viral star Grump Cat’s death. Tartar Saud aka Grumpy Cat became an internet sensation due to her angry face. Her owner said Tarter Sauce’s genetic makeup caused her infamous grumpy look.
Isabela’s rise to fame started on Twitter where various users mistook her for a boy and noticed how angry she looked. The photo was originally shared on Kunstmann’s Facebook page where his followers and friend’s commented on Isabela’s angry scowl.
