Amber Heard has been accused of giving the acting performance of her life after giving her testimony in the $100 million court case against her ex-husband Johnny Depp. The Aquaman star countersued her former flame, who sued her over an op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post one year after their divorce, where she claimed she had been the victim of domestic abuse.
The exhilarating trial, already two weeks underway in Fairfax, Virginia, saw Amber take to the stand this week. She recalled her turbulent time being in a relationship with the Pirates of the Caribbean actor. But a spokesperson for the latter has since spoken out, saying that Amber’s story has continuously changed since her deposition, further adding that she’s been putting on a showstopping performance so far.

“As [his] counsel predicted in their opening statements last month Ms Heard did indeed deliver ‘the performance of her life’ in her direct examination,” the spokesperson said. “While Ms Heard’s stories have continued to grow new and convenient details, Mr Depp’s recollections have remained exactly the same throughout the six painful years since her first allegations were made.”
Johnny Depp: “If things get physical, we have to separate.”
Amber Heard: “No we don’t.”
Johnny Depp: “We have to be apart from one another….There can be no physical violence.”
Amber Heard: “I can’t promise you I won’t get physical again….”

During her testimony, the Texas native alleged that Johnny had kicked her in her back during a flight in May 2014. She told the jury how she fell to the floor when the father-of-two had gotten physical with her on his private plane shortly after a quarrel. Supposedly, staff members were in plain sight and witnessed the incident yet remained quiet to imply that Johnny’s alleged antics were nothing unusual.

“He reeks of weed and alcohol, and his breath smelled so bad. I could anticipate there was a no-win situation here,” she said in court. “He was saying really disgusting things about my body … and then he started straight up insulting me. And this is happening in front of everyone.”
“I walk away from him, my back is turned and I feel this boot in my back. He just kicked me in the back,’ the star continued. “I fell to the floor and it felt like I was looking at the floor of the plane for a long time. “No-one said anything, no-one did anything, you could hear a pin drop on that plane, you could feel the tension.”
Taking to the stand had been one of the actress’ “most painful and difficult things” to do, she said on Wednesday, before detailing some of her alleged physical altercations with Johnny as she wept in tears.
Amber had also shed light on an incident where Johnny allegedly slapped her for the first time back in 2013 after she said she had laughed at one of his tattoos. Soon after, she remembered her ex performing a cavity search on her while looking for his drugs. The trial is expected to conclude later this month.
