Amanda Bynes claims fiancé Paul Michael has stopped taking his meds and accuses him of using cocaine: “I’m afraid’

It’s been a month since former actress Amanda Bynes’ conservatorship was officially terminated by a judge in Ventura County, California. While she’s been trying to celebrate her freedom following the ruling that brought an end to the nearly 9-year conservatorship, it still looks like she’s dealing with some problems in her life.

In a series of posts to her Instagram Story, Bynes claimed that her fiancé Paul Michael has “stopped taking his medications” and has been using drugs behind her back. She stated in her Thursday clips, “Paul told me that he stopped taking his medications. I looked at his phone and he was looking at mom-and-son porn. He vandalized his mom’s home. He broke all of her pictures and put salmon under her bed,” she explained. “His behavior’s alarming, and I’m afraid of what he’ll do.” Bynes went on to say that she allegedly “found Paul’s stash of cr** cocaine.” “He’s been using for the past six months,” she claimed. “He needs serious help. I kicked him out of my house.”

These allegations may come as a slight shock to some fans as they appeared to be doing just fine. Just hours before her posts, she shared one promoting their second song. Two years ago, Paul even boasted about his fiancée in an interview with E! News. He said at the time, “We take good care of each other and we’re understanding of one another and she is a good listener and we’re there for each other. We have the best time and I love spending every second with her. She is the best thing that ever happened to me.” Paul has yet to make a statement about these claims.

The latest bump in the road comes after the star’s conservatorship ended in March after nine years. Following the ruling, she said to People in a statement that she’s focusing on improving her life.

“In the last several years, I have been working hard to improve my health so that I can live and work independently, and I will continue to prioritize my well-being in this next chapter,” she said in a statement to People after the ruling. I am excited about my upcoming endeavors — including my fragrance line — and look forward to sharing more when I can,” she added. Her attorney backed her by saying, “She’s doing very well and looking forward to moving in her property with [fiancé] Paul,” David Esquibias told People Magazine. “They’re actively searching for furniture, and she’s excited about all of it. “She’s ecstatic to receive her parents’ full love and support behind her decision to terminate the conservatorship.”
