Amanda Bynes Announces That She Is Pursuing A Bachelor’s Degree After 2 Months ‘In Treatment’
Amanda Bynes’ year may have started off a little bit rocky, but the former actress is focused on getting her life back on the right track!

Following two months “in treatment,” Bynes has decided to do something good for herself. The 34-year-old took to Twitter this Saturday morning to announce that she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Bynes wrote in her caption,
“Getting my Bachelor’s degree from FIDM, Taking online classes, trying to get a 4.0 GPA :] 🎓,” she wrote in her post. “Looking forward to starting my online store in the future #goals.” She went on to share that she’s been “in treatment” for the last two months to work on her “coping skills” and “to help with my social anxiety that caused me to drop out of school months ago. Back on track and doing well!”
Before concluding she added,
“I’m now living in transitional living and doing therapy during the week,” she continued. “Still engaged to tha love of my life Paul 🌹Hope you’re all staying safe! Love y’all! 🐥🐦.”
Back in March it was reported that Bynes was ordered to enter a psychiatric facility after the judge in her conservatorship case met with her and her family. This happened after she called off her 3-week engagement to boyfriend Paul Michael.
However, her attorney David Esquibias spoke out earlier this month out to make a few things clear. For starters, he noted that “Amanda is not pregnant and she is not residing in a sober living facility.” Esquibias also spoke to Entertainment Tonight, and added that “She is sheltering in a safe location and is doing very well.”
It’s not exactly clear where or what Bynes is getting treatment for. But, we’re happy to hear she is staying positive!
