Actress Pam Grier Shuts Down Cancer Rumors
For some reason, folks on social media were saying that actress Pam Grier was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and in a fight for her life. Many people were sending prayers and even started to look back on her career with tributes, fearing for the worst.

A rep for Pam recently spoke to TMZ to address these rumors, telling the news site that they are completely FALSE. Now, for those who weren’t aware, Grier had been diagnosed with stage four cervical cancer back in 1988. Though she was only given 18 months to live at the time, she managed to pull through, and her cancer’s been in remission ever since. The actress’ rep said Pam, who is a cancer survivor is “as healthy as ever!”
While that’s all sorted out, the rep also shared that Pam will be headed to work this Saturday on season 3 of her ABC show, “Bless This Mess.” It was noted that Pam puts in 8-10 hour days when she’s working.
TMZ notes that Grier will turn 71 this year and has no signs of slowing down.
