Aaron Hernandez’s lawyer, Jose Baez is fighting back against claims made in Netflix’s new documentary “Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez,” which examines the late Patriots player’s downfall.

Baez shut down claims that Aaron was gay and that his sexuality played a part in his fate, “I don’t give a damn about what some lame-ass documentary has to say about Aaron,” Baez wrote. “I knew him, they did not and while he was far from perfect, they are not even close to the truth. People have no idea how documentaries are made, the truth is usually found on the cutting room floor. These producers lied directly to my face, so I don’t expect their money-making scheme to be much better.”

According to TMZ, Baez spoke to them and said that his client was NOT in the closet about his sexuality and that was not what triggered his suicide. He reiterates that Aaron’s death was triggered by advanced CTE and that his sexuality had nothing to do with it.
