On Thursday (July 23), Oklahoma’s Owasso Police Department found the couple, who were going through a divorce, dead with gunshot wounds.

A family member alleged Duffey, 48, broke into his former home with Gilson, 43, and killed her before turning the gun on himself. In 911 audio, obtained by PEOPLE, a call requesting service came in at 11:15 p.m. During the call, the 911 dispatcher spoke with first responders about trying to regain contact with the caller who reported the would-be murder-suicide.

911 Call Details Released In Influencer Sara Gilson’s Fatal Shooting

The 911 dispatcher said, “I’m trying to reach him back, but I could hear a female in the background screaming and crying. Some sort of loud bang in the background.” A few moments later, the dispatcher said, “A male that we were looking for a few weeks ago after he got caught kissing a juvenile.” The caller also mentioned “a gun.” By 11:18 p.m., officers confirmed their arrival to the home to dispatchers. As previously shared, the 911 caller was a child who lived at the home.

Weeks before her death, Gilson filed an emergency protective order against Duffey on June 10. On June 23, officials extended the order until August 24. On June 10, another woman also filed an emergency order for her 15-year-old daughter — whom Duffery coached on a youth basketball team. The teen alleged Duffey kissed and touched her.

He also allegedly sent her messages, invited her to his hotel room during a tournament trip and offered her money “to keep quiet.” Officials also extended that order through August 24. On July 10, Gilson filed another order, alleging Duffey had a gun, threatened suicide, and “went on the run.” On July 11, she shared her TikTok video alleging he was a pedophile. Nearly 2 weeks later, police found the estranged couple shot dead.
