Kiyel Williams, one-half of the viral influencer duo 80KTwins, has broken his silence after hearing from his previously-reported missing brother, Kamar Williams.
As we previously shared, Kiyel took to the twins’ joint Instagram page on Thursday (July 16) to report his brother Kamar missing. While pleading for help, Kiyel said Kamar went silent after leaving their family home in Atlanta, Georgia two days prior (Tuesday, July 14).
In his post, Kiyel shared a photo with his twin and circled Kamar in a black outline. In a swipe left, Kiyel shared a screenshot of Kamar’s location and it showing him as “not found.” Kiyel also liked a social user’s comment confirming this was not a hoax or a skit.

80KTwins’ Father Travelle Williams Reveals Son Kamar Williams Is Safe After Twin Brother Kiyel Williams Reported Him Missing For 2 Days
On Saturday (July 18), the twins’ father, Travelle Williams, shared a post updating fans about Kamar. Travelle shared a press release via their publicist. It revealed Kamar had “contacted the family after learning how deeply concerned and heartbroken his loved ones were following his departure from home on July 14, 2026.” The release said:
“The family of social media influencer Kamar Williams, known online as one-half of @the80ktwins, confirms that Kamar has contacted them after learning how deeply concerned and heartbroken his loved ones were following his departure from home on July 14, 2026. The viral influencer and socialite explained to his brother, Kiyel Williams, that he needed to step away from social media temporarily to focus on his mental and emotional well-being. He shared that he has experienced an overwhelming amount of anxiety lately and needed time alone to reflect on his identity, his future, and the direction of his life.
Kamar provided the following statement:’ It is sometimes difficult to reflect on yourself and understand your own identity, especially when you have a twin around all the time. I apologize for worrying y’all. I did not realize that my absence would result in such an abundance of love and concern. I appreciate every message and post shared regarding my absence. Life can become difficult, and lately it was getting the best of me. My publicist Jonell Whitt has connected me with an amazing organization where I can receive the help I need to navigate the dark cloud I am experiencing right now. I need a few more days of solitude to clear my head. I appreciate your love, support and patience. Thank you so much. Sometimes it feels as though men do not receive the same level of emotional support when they are going through difficult situations. Women often have their best friends and homegirls. I have a supportive family, but sometimes it feels like family members do not always understand your struggles or take what you are experiencing seriously. When I tell you that I truly appreciate the blogs, media, and new outlets that reached out to my family; and members of the public who showed love and concern, I mean it. Hours later, Kiyel took to the twins’ joint account to again speak out. He reiterated that his brother Kamar is safe and needs a few more days to sit with himself before coming online to address supporters and answer their questions and concerns.
Kiyel also noted how he “didn’t expect so many people to care,” and is appreciative. He captioned the post, “Kamar I’m glad you[‘re] safe brudda ❤️and thank you guys for all the support in this hard time ❤️ He will answer all your questions when he comes back home, stay posted in the mean time 🙏🏿❤️.”
