Pastor Jamal Bryant is again slamming Dr. Cheyenne Bryant over her ongoing credentials controversy, and he is now alleging she sent him a cease-and-desist signed by herself. To note, one can indeed create and send a cease-and-desist letter themselves, or seek a licensed attorney to send one on someone’s behalf.
The letter is simply a formal, pre-litigation warning requesting/demanding that an individual or business immediately stop an action that violates your rights — be it copyright or trademark infringement, harassment, defamation/libel/slander, etc.
It can help one’s future legal case in proving that you attempting to work with the other party before taking further legal action and running to the courts. C&Ds are more about showing how serious one party is about the other violating their rights before taking official legal action.
Pastor Jamal Bryant Attempts To Expose Dr. Cheyenne Bryant Again After Allegedly Sending Cease-And-Desist Signed By Herself
Now, in the current case between Pastor Bryant and Dr. Bryant, things began back on January 9, 2025. Pastor Bryant uploaded an interview to his YouTube channel for The Jamal Bryant Podcast: Let’s Be Clear.
A year later, in April 2026, Dr. Bryant revealed on The Joe Budden Podcast that she’s not a licensed professional. She instead claims she is a ”psychology expert and life coach,” with several degrees.
In May 2026, she told The Breakfast Club that she did undergrad, then earned a Master’s of Science in Counseling/Marriage, Family & Child Therapy, and then completed a Doctorates program for Counseling Psychology at Argosy University.
The revelation caused a whirlwind of backlash, including commentary from Pastor Bryant. He addressed her credential controversy on June 4, 2026. On July 25, 2026, Pastor Jamal Bryant revealed Dr. Cheyenne Bryant allegedly sent him a cease-and-desist, causing him to further call her out.
