Jelly Roll, 41, and his estranged wife Bunnie Xo, 46, have broken their silence after the Country singer filed for divorce from his wife. While Jelly says “nobody cheated on nobody,” they both confirm they’re still best friends, and Bunnie says they’re planning for a baby, even though he’s already dating other women.
As we previously shared, Jelly Roll, born Jason Bradley DeFord, filed for divorce from his wife of nearly 10 years back in May. Court documents showed he filed in Tennessee. According to sources for TMZ, the divorce was “mutual.”
However, Bunnie, born Alisa Andrea Carter (and also known as Alisa DeFord), went on her ‘Dumb Blonde Podcast‘ and said that’s false. She said she was blindsided by the divorce, even though she told him to file during a previous heated argument.

Bunnie Xo Reveals She And Jelly Roll Got Into Heated Argument Before He Ultimately Filed For Divorce
She explained that things escalated on Mother’s Day (May 10). She said for 8 years into their marriage they rarely argued, instead they harbored things inside. But things changed in the last year-and-a-half. After their Mother’s Day argument, she “was so fed up and tired” and told him, “File the f**king divorce papers.” She said in their relationship, they rarely threw the word, stating, “That is the one cardinal thing that you don’t say.”
After the feud, Bunnie packed a bag and left their home. She said other things took place, which she doesn’t wish to share at this time. Bunnie said she and Jelly didn’t talk for weeks after the feud. During that time, he ended up filing for divorce. She said:
“It was not mutual, even though I told him to file the divorce papers. I was speaking out of anger and frustration. Was it necessary for us to have a wake-up call and actually start having these real conversations? Absolutely.”
Bunnie continued to share how she lost 15 pounds over everything. She continued to share, “My husband and I are ending this marriage on the best possible terms that you could ever have a divorce.”
Bunnie continued to open up about experiencing four miscarriages with Jelly. She said they lost four embryos during their marriage and it’s been “gut-wrenching, miserable, and so heartbreaking.” She later added, “We’re still having a baby together.”

Elsewhere, Jelly Roll took to a June 18 concert to speak out about filing for divorce from Bunnie Xo. While on stage at the Saratoga Springs, New York stop of his ‘Little ASS Shed Tour,’ he said:
“I wasn’t going to talk about this tonight. But, while we’re talking about liars, the internet is a liar too. This is the only time, the only city I’m going to speak about this, so break your camera phones out now.
Me and my wife are best friends, we will always be best friends. I will love her. She will probably be the only woman I’ll ever love the way I loved her. Nobody cheated on nobody. We just got off the phone earlier today. Nobody cheated on nobody. She just did a whole podcast about it. You can go watch it. Every word of it is the truth. That will be my best friend forever. This is the only time I will ever speak about this.
Bunnie, I love you, baby. Thank you for those 10 years. They were incredible. Thank you for the next 10 years of friendship and 20 beyond that. with that being said, cheers everybody. Thank you for coming out tonight.”
