Whew! Kanye West is not having it. The rapper and business mogul dropped new Instagram posts criticizing Adidas for their latest Yeezy release. In a series of passionate messages, Kanye expressed his frustration with the brand, accusing them of selling fake Yeezys without his approval and not compensating him for his designs. In his initial post, Kanye called out Adidas for releasing new Yeezy colorways that he claims he never made. He expressed his disappointment in seeing his fans potentially being misled into purchasing inauthentic products. Kanye also raised concerns about Adidas allegedly suing him while continuing to profit from his brand.

“Anybody who loves Ye would not buy these fake Yeezys. I never made these colorways. I’m not getting paid off of them and Adidas is suing me All these celebrities and the public will stand against a T-shirt or the color of my hat but when yall see me have my children hidden from me or see an actual Fortune 500 company rape one of your heroes in real life don’t nobody say nothing or do nothing. As far as the system goes What yall gone do now Take my album down again Freeze my accounts again Threaten people to not work with me again All the new non approved 350s are cooorny and everybody knows the 350 has been corny,” Ye said.

In a follow-up video, he reiterated how much he disapproves of this move. In the caption of his second post, he added: “Adidas is selling fake Yeezys and not paying me and suing me at the same time.”

More On Kanye West:

As previously reported, Adidas pulled the plug on its partnership with Ye and his clothing and footwear company Yeezy back in October 2022. The split occurred after Ye made antisemitic comments on X in a since-removed post that said he would be “going death con 3 on Jewish people.”

In May, the retail giant announced that it would sell parts of the inventory worth $1.3 billion from its Yeezy collaboration. Since then, Ye has blasted the German sportswear giant while trying to sell his famous sneakers in-house.

In December, Ye revealed Yeezy’s first shoe since Adidas cut ties with him over his antisemitic remarks. The rapper, previously called Kanye West, unveiled a foldable sock shoe called “YZY POD” in an X post. He said at the time, “Our first product since liberation from Adidas goes on presale today, $200 at yeezy.com. Accept no imitations.”

Adidas has yet to respond publicly to Kanye’s allegations, leaving fans and industry insiders curious about the future of the Yeezy brand and its relationship with the iconic rapper.
