After leaving rehab, Pete Davidson‘s inner circle is reportedly concerned over his sobriety and mental health and “fear he could die.”

According to The Sun, a few people from the inner circle of the 29-year-old comedian are said to be very worried about him not taking his sobriety and mental health seriously ever since he was discharged from rehab.
In June, it was reported that Davidson, who suffers from Crohn’s disease, was in rehab, struggling with mental health, specifically with borderline personality disorder and PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). In the past, the star has also struggled with drug use and has been in rehab twice before, once in 2017 and then again in 2019. In December 2018, he also sparked an NYPD wellness check after talking of suicide online.

According to Page Six, sources told them that in June the ‘Saturday Night Live‘ alum was being treated at the same facility in Pennsylvania where his close friend John Mulaney had previously sought help for alcohol and drug issues.
Davidson’s admission into rehab came weeks after he was forced to apologize to the head of animal charity at PETA after he left her an f-bomb voicemail rant. That month he was also charged with one count of reckless driving after smashing his car into a Beverly Hills home.
In July, he struck a plea deal with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office to avoid possible jail time. As part of the plea deal, he agreed to take part in a diversion program, and if he meets all of the requirements upon completion he won’t have any criminal charges on his record.
Since being released from rehab, which happened sometime in late July, one of Davidson’s alleged friends now says his friends “fear he could die.”
One source told The Sun, “His buddies, these friends he has around him, they are enabling him and they aren’t being honest with him. He came out of rehab and he immediately started talking about how had taken ketamine to treat his depression and these people who are always around him didn’t think that was a big deal. It wasn’t a big deal until of course it blew up and became a problem for his fresh-out-of-rehab image.”
The source from Davidson’s inner circle added, “Here is the thing, I don’t think he is mature enough to face reality and face the music. If he doesn’t start taking his issues seriously, he could wind up killing himself from drugs. At the end of the day, I feel bad for him. The drug situation is his own issue, and I don’t think he understands it all comes crashing down.”
Meanwhile, another insider told The Sun that although some sources say they “fear he could die,” other people are less worried about Davidson. The source said, “He just stays in his room and watches TV. He just doesn’t do a lot these days. He does his stand-up gigs and immediately goes back to his room for the night.”
