Karrueche Tran Reacts To DaniLeigh Drama With DaBaby And Explains Why She Empathizes With Her: “It Made Me Want To Throw Up Because I Felt Her Pain”
During a recent appearance on the Angie Martinez Show, actress Karrueche Tran shared her thoughts on the drama surrounding DaniLeigh and DaBaby.
A few weeks ago, the entertainers hopped on Live to let the public know what they were going through behind the scenes. DaBaby tried to kick Dani out of his home after he claimed he couldn’t tolerate her “toxic behavior.” However, DaniLeigh said the big fight started after she told the rapper to get her a Plan B pill because he was being “irresponsible,” which apparently triggered him. While trying to clear his name the next day, DaBaby told fans that he and Dani Leigh weren’t even together. Dani responded by pulling out receipts and a timeline of their dating history to prove her side. Ultimately, fans felt bad for the new mom following the public embarrassment.
Karrueche, who dated Chris Brown, is no stranger to dealing with a not-so healthy relationship and a big public breakup. She told Angie that it actually triggered her trauma: “I felt that way for DaniLeigh,” she told Angie Martinez. “I felt it in my soul and in my body and when I saw the videos. What he was saying…it just made me want to throw up because I felt her pain and I felt her embarrassment because it was public and the things he was saying were disgusting.” Karrueche also revealed that she even reached out to DaniLeigh on Instagram to give her some words of encouragement.
“I just sent her a message for support to say, ‘If you need anything or anyone to talk to, I’m here.’” Tran said. “That just really triggered my trauma. I was like, ‘Oh my God, PTSD,’” she laughed. “And she just had a baby so to go through it with a child…a new baby…she’s very, very strong.”
Chris and Karrueche dated on and off from 2011 to 2014. Their relationship ended after Karrueche learned via social media that the singer had fathered a daughter, Royalty, with Nia Guzman. In November 2019, Chris welcomed a son, Aeko, with Ammika Harris.
Karrueche was most recently linked to NFL star Victor Cruz. After dating in 2017, the two announced their breakup earlier this year.
