Serial Bank Robber Iconic Facce Pleads Guilty To Robbing Banks To Fund Plastic Surgery
A transgender Alabama woman pleaded guilty to committing a multiple bank robberies to fund her plastic surgery needs.
WLOX in Biloxi reports that Iconic Facce, 39, from Ashford, pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery while appearing in a Harrison County courtroom. She received a 15-year sentence for her crimes. She had previously done 51 months in jail for another robbery in Alabama in 2009.
“As the investigation continued, investigators were able to determine Facce’s cell phone service provider and obtain phone data, including geolocation information. The geolocation data established that the phone was located in Gulfport in the area of BancorpSouth on the morning of March 22, 2019, between the hours of 7 and 11 a.m. The phone is then shown traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 and northbound on Interstate 65 in Alabama. The phone was last located on March 23, 2019, at the Hunstville International Airport,” said Assistant District Attorney Ian Baker.
Facce, born Jimmy Lewis -robbed BancorpSouth in Gulfport on February 22, 2019. She threatened the bank teller with a note that said “one minute’ to hand over cash ‘or die’.” After the robbery she went to Mexico to get face surgery, she was apprehended on her way back at Houston airport after officials noticed that her face was swollen and she was bandaged on her nose.
