Ellen DeGeneres Increasing Benefits For Staff Amidst Complaints

Ellen DeGeneres is listening to her staff after numerous complaints were made by former and current employees that claimed the work  environment was toxic, racist and just plain unpleasant.

Page Six reports that Ellen is increasing benefits for employees, including increased paid time off and a medical leave policy.

Executive producers Andy Lassner and Mary Connelly shared the new updates as Warner Media investigates the allegations.

Employees will now get five paid days off to use at their discretion, birthdays off, paid time for doctors appointments and personal family incidents.

As we recently reported, DeGeneres announced that three top producers of the show had been fired over the allegations of misconduct and sexual harassment. It was said that she shared the news during a video meeting with staff, telling them she was “so sorry for what this has become.” Ellen added that an internal investigation was underway.

According to inside sources, the vibe on set is much better since the new changes.
