UPDATE: Top “Ellen Show” Producers Have Been FIRED Over Allegations Of Sexual Harassment And Misconduct
As we previously reported, an internal investigation into racism and bullying had been launched after former staffers spoke out on the “toxic work environment” they’ve experienced while working on the “Ellen Degeneres Show.” Weeks after, top executives were also hit with sexual misconduct allegations.
“Three Senior Producers Of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Removed Amid Workplace Allegations
Former staffers said executives who work behind the scenes have engaged in sexual misconduct with employees including one who asked for a handjob and oral sex. At the time, Ellen spoke out to address the toxic workplace allegations but didn’t touch on the latest ones against the producers.
However, according to the Hollywood Reporter, Ms. DeGeneres announced that three top producers of the show have been fired over those allegations of misconduct and sexual harassment. It was said that she shared the news during a video meeting with staff, telling them she was “so sorry for what this has become,” according to THR. Ellen added that an internal investigation was underway.

As the news site notes, a spokesperson for Warner Brothers also confirmed the show has “parted ways” with executive producers Ed Glavin and Kevin Leman, and co-executive producer Jonathan Norman. Ed Glavin and Kevin Leman have denied the claims against them, while Jonathan Norman has not publicly commented.
