At some point during his speech he spoke on his law and justice plan, and hailed his efforts to tackle the coronavirus pandemic. He said, “Before the end of the year I predict we will have a very successful vaccine, therapeutic (treatment) and cure. We’re making tremendous progress. I deal with these incredible scientists, doctors very closely.”
He added,
“I have great respect for their minds. They have come up with things. They’ve come up with many other cures and therapeutics over the years… They’ve come up with the Aids vaccine…” Donald eventually realized he made a mistake and tried to correct himself by saying: “Or the Aids, and the as you know theres various things, and now various companies are involved and the therapeutic for Aids… Aids with a death sentence and now people live a life with a pill.”
As many people are aware, there is still no vaccine to prevent the once-deadly virus, or cure. However, HIV – the virus which causes Aids – can be treated with medication that keeps HIV positive people healthy, and help people live a normal life.
