Socialites, it comes with a heavy heart to report on the passing of Randy Gonzalez of the TikTok father-son duo Enkyboys. According to TMZ, sources close to the family told the publication he passed away on Wednesday while in hospice for colon cancer.

Gonzalez had been diagnosed back in late 2021 and openly admitted to fans that doctors had only given him about 2-3 years to live. Starting a chemotherapy treatment at the time was going to prolong his life expectancy to no more than five years, he said.

On his TikTok account, which he shared with his son Brice, the pair spread awareness about colon cancer in a series of TikTok videos and opened a GoFundMe page after Gonzalez asserted he was denied treatment at a cancer center because they didn’t accept his insurance.

Gonzalez is survived not just by his son Brice but also his wife, Kimberly, and their two other children, Aubree and Lauren.

News of the TikTok star’s passing has completely shattered his fans and those who’ve frequently seen his videos on the video-sharing app.

People on Twitter reacted to the heartbreaking news, with one writing, “RIP to Randy Gonzalez, the father of the very popular Tiktok duo Enkyboys after his battle with cancer for a year. The father-son videos during covid and Trump protests were a source of entertainment for us, especially his talented son.”

May he rest in peace.
