A Waffle House manager was shot in the head during an argument at the Brookhaven location in Mississippi.

The woman was shot during an argument with suspect Willie Walker III after she dismissed his girlfriend from her shift at the restaurant. Authorities reported Walker arrived at the restaurant shortly before 2 a.m. after the victim sent his girlfriend home but he fled the scene after the shooting. A male victim was shot in the arm during the altercation and both victims were transported to the King’s Daughter Hospital. The female victim was later airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center for further treatment as reported by WLOX. Her condition is currently unknown.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement that Walker was previously released on bond for a shooting that occurred several weeks ago at his cousin’s home.
