20-Year-Old Woman Who Was On Birth Control Gives Birth To Baby Boy Holding IUD In His Hand
It is reported that Violet Quick, of Idaho, had an IUD implanted in her uterus, but it ended up failing as she became pregnant with her husband’s child.
At 19, Violet and her hubby John Francis got married, but the couple had no plans on having a child, so Violet got an IUD. However, just one year into their marriage, the couple was met with a big surprise when they learned that they were now expecting a whole baby.

The married couple welcomed their baby boy named Rudy one week ago and introduced him to the world in a now viral video. In the video, Violet showed off her newborn proudly clutching his mother’s birth control device.
Violet also revealed that her baby boy even left the nurses in shock. In additional videos on her TikTok, Violet shared that she ended up taking a pregnancy test out of precaution, because she had been nauseous for two weeks.

She said, “So I had my Skyla IUD for nine months before I got pregnant and the reason that I decided to take a test was because I was feeling nauseous for about two weeks and I would just throw up every once in a while. I didn’t know what was going on and so I took a test and it was positive right away.”
Still unconvinced that the test came back positive, Violet went and took six more tests, that confirmed her results. She said, “They were all positive and I actually went to the ER and I was seven weeks pregnant.”

Violet also advised her thousands of followers to “take a test” if they are ever experiencing pregnancy symptoms if they are on birth control. She said, “I would say if you are having any of those signs of pregnancy or if your period is late to take a test.”
“It’s better to know because there is a high risk of having ectopic pregnancies when you have an IUD, but they work for the most part, someone has to be the .01 per cent and that’s me and my baby.”
