2 Chainz Plans To Reopen Atlanta Restaurants For Dine-In Service
Welp, it looks like 2 Chainz will soon be back in business as he plans to reopen his Atlanta restaurants for sit-down service’
The rapper’s business partner and co-owner, Snoop Dillard spoke with TMZ and said that 2 Chainz‘s Escobar Restaurant and Tapas, are serving dine-in meals starting Monday. However, he notes that they are making public safety a top priority.
For those who didn’t know, Escobar restaurants were strictly doing take-out orders due to coronavirus restrictions. It was also said that both locations have been down 95% during the shutdown, and the restaurants were forced to furlough around 80% of its staff. But, since Georgia’s Governor has decided to allow businesses to reopen even despite the growing spread of COVID-19, it looks like 2 Chainz is focused on getting people back to work!
Snoop tells the news site that they are planning to bring back 65% of restaurant staff and hope to bring the entire staff back very soon. They plan to make sure to keep everyone safe by checking their temperature when they clock in. It’ll also be mandatory for all staff to wear gloves and masks. Any staff member showing coronavirus symptoms will be asked to go home and quarantine for 14 days.
TMZ notes that the restaurants plan to bring back hookahs, which will be cleaned and sanitized frequently. Folks are expected to bring their own hoses. In addition to that, customers can expect to see DJs at both locations.
Aside from this, 2 Chainz and Snoop donated have hundreds of meals to medical workers on the frontlines and they plan to give more to workers at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
