A meeting being held by the Socialism and Liberty Party had a brief moment when a couple forgot to turn their camera and audio off during a romantic encounter in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The meeting was conducted by member Leonel Brizola which discussed ensuring food for children within local communities during the pandemic. As Brizola and another member were discussing their plans, the participant left the meeting but forgot to turn off their camera and microphone. As he and his partner were having sex, another participant noticed the couple and motioned a friend to watch them in action.
Other members of the council decided to ignore the shenanigans and continued the meeting for four more hours. As reported by the Daily Mail, Brizola called the moment “an involuntary indiscretion” and was upset by local media because it went viral instead of addressing the actual issue at hand.

‘As soon as we noticed what was happening, we immediately asked the people controlling the audio and video of the participants to take it off the feed. Us councilors and other participants do not have any input in controlling or editing videos on Zoom.’
There were no further reports if the participant faced consequences for his actions but Brizola said the moment highlighted ‘the incompetence of a city that has resources, but fails to ensure that children’s rights are respected’.
