Yung Miami’s Teen Brother Arrested In Connection To May Aventura Mall Shooting
City Girls rapper Yung Miami‘s teen brother, Chrisey Pressley, has been identified as the first suspect arrested in connection to the Aventura Mall shooting back in May. Aventura Police say Pressley, who is 18 and also goes by FBE Chris, was arrested on Wednesday (June 9) but was not charged with the shooting itself.
Instead, the teen, who brandished a gun during the high-profile shooting before taking off and fleeing the scene, was jailed on a charge of carrying a concealed firearm. Pressley reportedly admitted that he didn’t have a concealed weapons permit, but “carried a handgun because he is famous.” He’s since been released on bond. However, he is also facing trial for a misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon charge from January.

As we previously reported, back on May 8, a melee broke out at one of South Florida’s biggest and most popular malls. After a confrontation erupted between two groups of young men, shots were fired. At least three people were wounded by gunfire as others stampeded for cover, fearing the presence of an “active shooter.” No other arrests have been made public in the case. An investigation is ongoing.
