WWE Hall Of Farmer Bret Hart Announces He Has Skin Cancer
WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hitman” Hart revealed on his Instagram that he was diagnosed with skin cancer.
The announcement was made Thursday with a photo of Hart pointing to a small stitch on his shoulder along with the caption informing fans to be more proactive when it comes to their health:
“Goal for 2020 and beyond: wear more sunscreen! Basal cell carcinoma removal scheduled soon. Another opportunity to remind everyone to look after your health and #getchecked.”
Bret Hart was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma, a common type of skin cancer and it is treatable by removing the cancer through surgery.
This is not the first time Hart has dealt with cancer. In 2016, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer and completed his treatments a year later. Hart is one of the most infamous WWE superstars and has won five championships, two-time Intercontinental champion, two-time Tag Team, one-time United States, two-time King of The Ring, and Royal Rumble championships. He left the WWE in 1997 to work with WCW after a dispute with CEO Vince McMahon.
