Authorities said the 54-year-old woman went into her bathroom and closed the door while using it on August 22. However, the bathroom’s doorknob was broken, leaving the woman trapped for three days without food and water. She also left her phone in another room, so she didn’t have any chance to call for help. According to Oddity Central, the woman banged and screamed for help in hopes that someone could hear her.
No one heard her pleas for help for the next two days, and she had to drink tap water to stay energized. The woman also wrote a farewell note by using her skincare products in case nobody would find her in time.
“I’ve been stuck in the toilet since August 22. If I die, please let Jay Lek take care of my will. Please give Tuk’s property to Tua Toon Tum. I drank tap water to survive. Without water, I would be dead. I tried to pry and smash my way out, I tried to shout, but no one heard me.”

On the third day, her sister worried that she didn’t hear from the woman and notified Bangkok police. A squad arrived at the house after receiving the call from the woman’s concerned sister and jumped over the gate since the woman didn’t respond to their calls.
Officers used pliers to break into the woman’s home and kicked open the bathroom door. The woman was reported to be weak since she didn’t eat for three days and was transported to a local hospital.
Doctors said the woman was stable despite not eating for three days. She is expected to make a full recovery.
