Wendy Williams says she’s doing “better than ever” after finishing up her time in rehab. As we previously reported, the former talk show host had reportedly checked herself into a facility for alleged substance abuse issues back in August — and by the look of things, the program has seen a drastic improvement in Williams’ overall health.
Williams’ rep Shawn Zanotti tells Page Six that she has already returned home and anticipates sharing her upcoming projects with her fans, which will undoubtedly include the highly-anticipated launch of her podcast. “We are happy to report that Wendy Williams is home and healing after being in a wellness facility since August,” Zanotti said in a statement.

“Wendy is excited about the road ahead and looking forward to releasing her many projects.” Zanotti expressed that Williams also had a few words for her fans who have continuously supported her and sent their well wishes, saying “Thank you to my fans for your love, support and many prayers, I am back and better than ever.”
Page Six, where Zanotti provided his statement, was one of the first news publications to report on Williams’ alleged battle with alcohol and how her relapse evidently led her to seek treatment to prevent things from spiraling out of control.
At the time, a source for Page Six claimed that things had “gotten worse” by the time the former radio personality decided to get help, having allegedly gone from drinking wine to “straight-up vodka.” Furthermore, it was claimed that Williams’ addiction rapidly worsened because Debmar-Mercury, the production company behind her now-defunct talk show, allegedly did not want to assist in getting Williams the help she needed.
Outside of launching her podcast in the near future, the mother of one is also said to be looking at acquiring her first restaurant, which Fresco by Scotto owner Rosanna Scotto confirmed in a recent interview with “Good Day New York.”

While Williams’ relationship with Debmar-Mercury has completely fizzled out, she’s also still caught up in a nasty legal battle with Wells Fargo, which she has accused of preventing her from accessing her funds.
The bank is said to have placed Williams in a court-appointed financial guardianship as officials at the company said they had reason to believe she may be suffering from dementia, prompting them to freeze her assets with them.
