Welp, Ne-Yo is living his best care-free life. The hitmaker was spotted in Los Angeles at The Grove on Thursday, strolling around with his two partners! TMZ caught up with the singer and asked the “She Knows” artist to share his thoughts on polygamous relationships… since he currently appears to be in one.
While holding hands with his special ladies, Ne-Yo voiced his support for polygamists being allowed to marry multiple people. However, he mentioned that he has no immediate plans to advocate for a change in the law, as it does not currently impact his personal life. Despite his stance on the matter, Ne-Yo admitted that he is unsure if he himself wants to marry multiple women…
Of course, Ne-Yo’s embrace of a polygamous lifestyle is not entirely surprising, as he was previously seen in Miami last summer holding hands with two women following his divorce from ex-wife, Crystal Renay. The split was reportedly influenced by Ne-Yo’s infidelity, suggesting that a relationship with multiple partners may better suit his current preferences.
What Is Polygamy?
Polygamy is a marriage system in which an individual has multiple spouses. It can be further categorized into polygyny (one man having multiple wives), polyandry (one woman having multiple husbands), or group marriage (multiple men and women marrying each other).
Polygamy is practiced in various cultures and religions around the world, but its prevalence varies widely. It is most commonly associated with certain traditional societies in Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Asia. In modern times, polygamy is illegal in many countries and is not widely practiced in most parts of the world. However, there are still communities and religious groups where polygamy is accepted and practiced, though often in a more limited and regulated manner.
More On Ne-Yo:
Ne-Yo told the outlet that although this lifestyle works for him, he doesn’t recommend it for anyone else. “No I don’t recommend anything to anybody. What works for me might not work for you and vice versa. So find out what works for you.”
Before letting the group stroll in peace, the paparazzi asked Ne-Yo if fans would get more songs that consist of him singing about being with more than one woman. He replied, “They’ll come.”
