WATCH: Man Saves Reptile Handler From Alligator Attack

A woman is lucky to be alive and still have her hand after a scary alligator attack!

The chaotic scene happened on Aug. 14 at the Scales and Tails in Utah where a children’s birthday party was being held. Video captured by Theresa Wiseman shows an employee attempting to guide the gator back into the water tank after it jumped to the platform.

While doing that, the reptile suddenly grabbed her hand and began pulling her into the tank. Thankfully, Theresa’s husband , Donnie Wiseman, was there and quickly sprung into action. He jumped right into the tank to wrestle the instructor’s hand away from the alligator’s jaws and with the assistance of another guest, the handler was able to free her hand.

The Facebook post explains that the handler was provided medical assistance by another guest who had a nursing background. Once emergency services arrived, the handler was taken to the hospital. She is expected to make a full recovery.
