Socialites, come get into this. The internet is collectively losing its mind after a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputy in Florida got caught in 4K pulling over a woman and literally fabricating an infraction…
The officer slapped her with a ticket for driving while holding her phone in her right hand… but there is just one massive, undeniable problem with the deputy’s story: the driver identified as Kathleen Thomas, 36, does not have a right hand!

Now, in the viral body cam footage from the Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office, which has already racked up millions of views, the deputy can be heard confidently doubling down on his claim, insisting he saw her committing the driving violation with her right hand. Katie hilariously laughed in the officer’s face, as she was shocked he would accuse her of something that couldn’t be true. She kept her cool, letting the man dig his own grave on camera before holding up her right arm to show the world that the entire lower portion of her limb is completely missing.
Instead of taking the ultimate L, realizing he messed up, and apologizing for the wildest optical illusion in traffic stop history, the deputy chose to triple down. He nonchalantly told Katie that if she didn’t like it, she could just use “option five” on the back of the ticket to take it to court.
The nerve!

Thankfully, justice didn’t need a courtroom showdown. After the video blew up and turned the law enforcement agency into a certified laughingstock, court records confirmed that the citation was officially dismissed.
The deputy himself submitted the request to drop the case due to a total “lack of evidence.” While Katie managed to laugh it off with her followers, the internet isn’t letting it slide, with thousands pointing out that if she hadn’t recorded the deputy stating his lie on camera, a judge probably would have taken his word over hers.
