During the red carpet premiere of the new film ‘Candy Cane Lane,’ Eddie Murphy chopped it up with ET’s Kevin Frazier and talked about co-starring alongside Tracee Ellis Ross.

While there, the comedian and father of 10 shared his own family’s Christmas traditions and gave a hilarious reaction to finding out that fellow actor Nick Cannon has more kids than him.

Frazier also asked Murphy if he had any advice for Nick Cannon who is a father of 12. Murphy, 62, gave a priceless reaction. Check it out:

The award-winning actor has six daughters and four sons. He had his first child in 1989 with then-girlfriend Paulette McNeely and his most recent child was born in 2018 with his fiancée Paige Butcher.

The comedian previously said, “I love fatherhood. I am so blessed with my kids,” he said during an appearance on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast. “I don’t have one bad seed. I don’t have any like ‘Oh you are the one.’ I don’t have any of that. My kids are so great, normal people — and nobody is like the Hollywood jerk kid.”

Meanwhile, Cannon is beating the veteran entertainer by two!

Cannon first became a father in 2012 during his marriage to Mariah Carey. Monroe, Moroccan, Golden, Powerful, Zion, Zillion, Zen, Legendary, Onyx, Rise, Beautiful Zeppelin and Halo Marie Cannon.

Earlier this year, Nick Cannon shared that he’s open to having more kids. “Only God can tell me if I’m done,” he said while appearing on The Language of Love with Dr. Laura Berman.

He also said at the time, “As much as I was open to every single child that I have, I can’t say the majority of them were planned,” Cannon continued. “If you would have told me in 2012 when I was still married and just diagnosed with Lupus that 10 years from now… that I would have 12 children, I would be like ‘F— out of here!'”

He added, “I can attest that a lot of these women, I mean you do have magic sperm, because several of these women have been on full-on birth control and gotten pregnant, and not wanted to get pregnant and gotten pregnant. I lend that type of stuff to God,” he replied. “Those are miracles.”
