Waka Flocka is about his bread, not beef, and he wants that to be very clear.
The rapper hopped on Instagram this Friday morning to quickly clear the air after a clip from one of his concerts started making rounds online. The clip in question shows Waka rapping his hit song “Hard In The Paint,” which prominently features shout-outs to Gucci Mane and Brick Squad. However, a concert-goer captured the moment and can be heard in the background saying, “he said f—k Gucci.”
Now, while it’s hard to make out exactly what was said—and given their history, where they previously fell out primarily due to business disputes, accusations of disloyalty, and mismanagement—Waka is making it clear that he’s not throwing shots or here for the BS. His post on Instagram read:
“Yall reaching with the gucci shit be bool and stop putting me and hate in the same sentence.”
More On What’s Happening With Gucci Mane:
Gucci Mane has been in the headlines this month due to a major federal criminal case in which he was identified as the victim of a violent armed kidnapping and robbery at a Dallas music studio involving fellow rapper Pooh Shiesty.
Shiesty is currently in police custody. Gucci Mane has since fired back and dropped a diss track to set the record straight about the alleged kidnapping and robbery.
