Kate Spade’s Suicide By Hanging

Now, the company became under fire after subscribers realized the insensitive subject line included the word “hang,” strangely referencing the cause of death of the famed fashion designer.

Back in 2018, Spade hanged herself in her New York City apartment. Spade’s housekeeper is the person who found her lifeless body. Nearby, she left a note behind for her daughter, telling the then-13-year-old that it was not her fault.

Customers Call To Boycott Ulta Beauty

While some customers and online users, and even some former employees of the brand, are calling for a boycott of the company, they have since released a statement, apologizing for the oversight.
