A Missouri woman was shot and killed by a man she met on the dating site Plenty Of Fish last Thursday morning.

Dominique Lucious,26, and suspect Charles Nelson agreed to meet up with each other at Lucious’s apartment in Springfield. Before her death, Lucious was living with a roommate and told them about her date with Nelson. According to Baller Alert, the roommate went to sleep and woke up after hearing multiple gunshots within the apartment. After the shooter fled from the apartment, the roommate was able to take photos of him as he entered his car to drive away.
Nelson was later arrested that night and charged with second-degree murder after officers matched the shell casing with his gun along with blood that was found on his shoe. Springfield Police said in a statement that text messages between Nelson and Lucious along with witness statements will be used in the investigation.

Lucious was known as a fan of the Fox series Empire and her family says she was loved by all.
She loved herself, how she was, and that’s what made everybody adore her. If she had her red lipstick and her red nails, she didn’t care what you had to say about her. And I loved that so much about her,” said her cousin Ciara Williams.
