Tory Lanez Reportedly Sued Over Alleged Hit & Run Accident That Left Man Disfigured — Rapper Blamed For Letting Unknown Driver Use His Vehicle

Earlier this week Tory Lanez dropped a cryptic tweet that read “it’s been real” and later scrubbed all of his pics from his Instagram account.

The rapper didn’t explain why he’s checking out of social media but according to Radar Online, it appears he has some legal problems he has to handle. The news site reports Tory is currently being sued over an alleged hit and run accident that left a man disfigured. To note, Tory is just being blamed for letting an unknown driver use his vehicle.

Now, according to docs obtained by the news site, a man named Barry Fine is suing the controversial rapper (real name: Daystar Peterson) as well as the insurance company AIG. Barry explains in the suit that he was driving his 2020 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Turbo around Florida on January 23, 2021 when an unknown driver operating a 2016 Range Rover owned by Tory allegedly caused a “chain reaction rear-end collision striking one vehicle propelling that vehicle into Plaintiff’s vehicle.” The suit states that the driver of Tory’s car was the one that caused a hit and run accident where the driver “fled the scene.”

As the news site notes, the documents claim the car was later found abandoned on 1-95 in Miami. Barry is now blaming Tory’s negligence for playing a role in the crash which caused him to sustain serious injuries and property damage.

Barry is now demanding more than $30,000 in damages. He believes Tory and the insurance company should pay him the difference between his car’s value before the accident as well as its value after the repairs are made, the news site notes.
