The jury in the Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion shooting trial have officially begun deliberations, and here are the updates. The jury asked for a readback of the witness’ testimony and the verdict forms have surfaced, showing Tory’s three charges.
Tory Lanez & Megan Thee Stallion Deliberations Day 1: Jury Asks For Readback Of Witness’ Testimony
According to several reports, the jury has now requested to hear all of Sean Kelly’s testimony read aloud by the court reporter.
Sean Kelly is the witness who claimed to have saw the entire shooting incident go down in the hills of Los Angeles. During his testimony, Kelly claimed he saw a big brawl between everyone in the car.
He also claimed to have seen a woman fire the first shot that night, and then claimed he saw Tory fire a gun multiple times after the first shot.
According to an email sent to reporter Meghann Cuniff, the jurors notified the court at 1:45 p.m. that they wanted to read back Kelly’s full testimony.
Cuniff reports that many cases have readbacks. According to New York City attorney Mohammed Gangat, the jury is being asked, “Has the prosecution proven their case beyond reasonable out?”

The second update from deliberations is from reporter Meghann Cuniff who has shared verdict forms, revealing the three charges against Tory Lanez.
Cuniff shared two pages per charge, including one not guilty page and another page for a guilty verdict. AGAIN, at this time a verdict has not been made.
A third update in the jury deliberations revealed that the jury had more questions, so deliberations will end for today and resume tomorrow morning.
It’s reported that the jury “wanted a definition of willfully and on purpose.”
