What a time! Sony TriStar Pictures Hosted a Screening of “Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody” at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles followed by a Q&A with legendary artist Babyface and the one and only Vocal Coach, Rickey Minor, that was moderated by Music Journalist Danyel Smith!

Rickey & Babyface both shared never heard before special moments about their friend Whitney Houston, whom they both worked with for many years. Babyface shared that some of their biggest hits were recorded fast as Whitney wanted to go to the mall, and she was able to knock out a song in no time and rarely needed a second take. Unimaginable talent!

Rickey shared that there was nothing Whitney wasn’t capable of doing and that he always set up new song medleys to show her abilities to the world.

Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody is a powerful and triumphant celebration of the incomparable Whitney Houston. Directed by Kasi Lemmons, written by Academy Award® nominee Anthony McCarten, produced by legendary music executive Clive Davis and starring BAFTA Award® winner Naomi Ackie, the film is a no-holds-barred portrait of the complex and multifaceted woman behind The Voice.
