Elsewhere, law enforcement officials say that on April 23 a 26-year-old female passenger booked a ride in the Uber app, with plans to take her from the area of Yonge Street and Eglinton Road, in the city of Toronto, to Vaughan. It is reported that during the ride, the 53-year-old male driver stopped in a parking lot in the area of Rutherford Road and Weston Road, nowhere near the woman’s final destination.
Upon pulling the car over, the driver allegedly sexually assaulted the woman. Following the incident, it is reported that the Uber driver grabbed his victim’s phone and proceeded to give himself a perfect rating of 5-stars within the rideshare app, plus a tip. Investigators say that after rating himself 5 out of 5, he gave the woman her phone back, let her get out of the car, and then he drove off leaving her stranded.

Investigators also have reason to believe that there may be more victims who have not yet come forward to report any crimes involving Lather. However, investigators are encouraging others to come forward and speak with them. They have also urged Lather to contact a lawyer and turn himself into police.
