TLC’s Chilli Believes Racial Makeup of Ahmaud Arbery Jury Shouldn’t Matter: “Just Because It’s Not The Same Skin Color Doesn’t Mean That They Wouldn’t Be Fair”
A judge recently ruled that he’ll seat one Black juror and 11 White people to decide the trial of the men who chased and killed Ahmaud Arbery.

As it was previously noted, race is a central issue in the case involving the death of Arbery who Greg McMichael, and his adult son, Travis McMichael, pursued in a pickup truck on Feb. 23, 2020; after they spotted the 25-year-old man running in their neighborhood in coastal Georgia. A neighbor, William “Roddie” Bryan,” joined the father and son duo in his own truck and took cellphone video of Travis McMichael shooting Arbery three times with a shotgun.
TLC’s Chilli is now weighing in on the topic of the murder trial, which just started on Monday. She was asked to share her take on the outrage and said that she was pretty optimistic, noting that “just because it’s not the same skin color doesn’t mean that they wouldn’t be fair.” She said we have to assume the jurors (black or white) are reasonable people who are out for the truth and justice.
Chilli, who noted that she is a Christian woman, went on to encourage everyone to have faith in humanity.
