Tina Turner’s son, Ronnie, has died at the age of 62. According to reports, a 911 call was made by an unknown person on Thursday, stressing they had seen a man outside of their home in the San Fernando Valley struggling to breathe. While it’s unclear what had caused Ronnie to experience breathing difficulties, TMZ claims that within minutes, he stopped breathing altogether.

Back in 2018, Ike Turner Jr. claimed that his adopted mom had turned her back on him and her family, adding that the singing sensation no longer wanted anything to do with them after leaving the U.S. to start a new life in Switzerland with his husband and German music producer Erwin Bach.

“Tina raised me from the age of two. She’s the only mother I’ve ever known,” he told the Daily Mail at the time. “But I haven’t talked to my mother since God knows when – probably around 2000. I don’t think any of my brothers have talked to her in a long time either.”

“My mother is living her life – she has a new husband and she’s in Europe. She doesn’t want to have anything to do with the past.”
