The Power of Culture: How Luis Garcia, Founder and CEO of Red Wolf Can Help You Amplify Your Brand
Luis Garcia, a self-taught entrepreneur, defies convention and challenges stereotypes in his approach to business. A Philadelphia native and US Army combat veteran, Luis has turned his street smarts and military knowledge into strategies, tactics and tools to help entrepreneurs and businesses expand their digital footprint across a multitude of industries.
Unwilling to settle for a life of struggle, Luis joined the Army as an infantryman. It was during his deployment in Afghanistan that he decided he wanted more out of life, so he used the only resources he had available at the time – a cell phone, his knack for marketing and his ambition – and built an Instagram audience of more than 6 million followers. Those pages sold for over 7 figures and laid the foundations for businesses that would impact not just his life, but millions of others too.
After returning home, Luis launched Red Wolf – a digital media company helping brands and businesses build communities and culture using the same methods and strategies that made him successful. It wasn’t long before he secured an impressive list of clients that include Rolls Royce, NBC, Universal, Lionsgate, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Vayner Media, Tom Bilyeu, Haute Living, BMW and more.
As the success of Red Wolf rocketed, Luis turned his personal brand (@LawofAmbition) into his second business to help others succeed in their entrepreneurial endeavors. Since 2018, Luis has mentored over 200 individuals and written three books, Law of Ambition, Law of Ambition Book of Quotes and Entrepreneur 101. His newest company, Milan Candles, was launched in 2021 with the sole mission to support individuals impacted by sex trafficking.
Luis firmly believes in the power of community when it comes to building a successful brand and he’s proved his theory works in practice with every business he builds and consults on. Here are his 4 C’s to help you amplify your digital presence and increase sales for your business:
Culture
The number one mistake people make on social media is focusing on content. Content is important, but without a solid foundation in place, that content is going to fall on deaf ears. Instead, take time to build the culture of your brand:
- What is your brand’s personality?
- What tone do you want to set for your audience?
- What are the key ideas/concepts that will align your audience with your brand?
Once you build your culture, your brand equity starts to grow and people don’t just like your content, they like who you are, what you stand for and how your brand makes them feel which is a much more powerful position to be in.
Consistency
Repetition is the key to creating a cult-like following. With social media and platforms constantly changing, it’s important to consistently stay top of mind with your audience.
- Are you consistently reinforcing your brand’s culture?
- Is the voice and tone of your brand aligned in every post, caption, profile, and on your website?
- Does your content strengthen your brand equity by positioning you as a subject matter expert in your industry on a consistent basis?
Community
The number of followers you have doesn’t create a community. A community is created by 2 or more people working together to exchange value.
- How can you use your page as a platform to bring your followers together to exchange value and opinions based on the culture that you created?
- How can you make your page about your followers, your mission and your values instead of focusing on you?
Conversion
Conversion is two-part: conversion and retention. If you’ve consistently been building your culture with your community, it’s going to be far easier for you to ask them to take action when it comes to sales because your community is already sold on your brand and what you do. You’re no longer going to have to force sales, because the value has been built up over time, which also increases your retention rates and the LTV (Lifetime Value) of your customers and followers.
