Whenever Nick Cannon’s name has popped up in the press in recent years, it’s usually because the “Wild ‘N Out” star was announcing the joyful news that he was expecting another baby. Many people would agree that, at this point, hearing about Nick having any more children after welcoming his 12th just a few months back wouldn’t be all that surprising anymore.
The 42-year-old has been open and honest in recent interviews about considering expanding his family down the line, much to the surprise of those who are already wondering how he’s juggling being a dad to so many kids, but by the look of things, Nick is doing just fine. For the 14th episode of REVOLT’s “The Jason Lee Show,” the TV personality sat down for a chat with HU Founder Jason Lee, discussing everything from potential plans to continue having more children to the current relationship he shares with his multiple baby mamas.

“What does Mariah think of all of the children?” Lee asked Nick, curious to know how his ex-wife, with whom he shares twins Moroccan and Monroe, feels about him now being a dad of 12. “She high frequency, man. She always asks me, ‘You aite? You good? How you doing? You handling it all?'”
“And then she’s like, as long as you don’t bring none of that bullsh** to the Manor of Carey, like, she lives in her own world […] When we talk daily, she’s just checking on my spirit.” He also addressed claims that the legendary R&B singer was allegedly looking to receive custody of her twins with Nick, to which he responded, saying he actually had dinner with her the night prior.
He even jokingly asked Mariah, “‘Did something happen that I don’t know about.’ But it’s, like, people create low-frequency messages to try and say that there’s something wrong. So, she encourages and me; she’s like, ‘Yo, let’s make sure we’re on the same page every day.'”
The TV host and actor has 12 children from six different baby mamas and has been very open about his decision to have more children in the future. Cannon believes that God decides how many children he should have, and he plans to let God make that decision for him. He has also revealed that he practices consensual non-monogamy relationships with his baby mamas, which has raised some eyebrows.
Cannon’s therapist does not support his procreation prowess and urged him to be celibate. However, Cannon manages to balance his work and fatherhood, attributing it to energy management instead of time management.
He is a proud father and recently shared a TikTok video with his daughter, Mariah Carey, and Kim Kardashian, where they danced to the single, “It’s A Wrap,” which he co-wrote with Carey. This video made Cannon feel special and showed that he is a family man who loves spending time with his children.
While some may find humor in the situation, others are concerned about the number of children Cannon is willingly producing.
