Texas Deputy Put On Desk Duty After Repeatedly Punching & Threatening Teen
A Texas deputy has been placed on desk duty after shocking video footage showed him repeatedly punching and threatening a teen filing up his ATV at a gas station. The incident took place last Friday (Mar. 26), at a local Shell gas station in Harris County. Carlos, a 16-year-old high school sophomore, was gassing up his ATV after he and two friends rode around the northwest area.
Carlos’ friend, who was videotaping their journey on a GoPro camera, captured the moment when a Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputy approaches the them, places his drink on Carlos’ ATV and asks him for his ID. At that moment, things quickly go south as the deputy asks Carlos to turn around and put his hands behind his back. However, Carlos takes a step, leading the deputy to believe he’s trying to flee.

Don’t be f**king stupid.” Then, the deputy punches Carlos in the head, knocking him to the ground, where he continues to punch the teen. Eventually, Carlos was charged for evading arrest, and after the excessive incident, the deputy was placed on desk duty, with an internal affairs investigation launched. Elsewhere, it’s reported that Carlos and his friends previously drove away from deputies, which the cop mentions in the video, but he says, he didn’t getting gas would’ve led to the violent encounter.
