Texas Company Says They Completed The Coronavirus Vaccine

Houston, Texas-based company Greffex Inc. claims that this past week, they’ve completed a vaccine for the coronavirus (COVID-19), which has affected more than 75,700 people and killed more than 2100.

Additionally, via its CEO John Price, the  company plans to give its cure away “for free to certain nations impacted” by the corona virus outbreak, should governments grant their approval.

Currently, the vaccine is set to be tested on animals by the necessary government agencies, ie: FDA in the US and similar organizations in China, plus other countries heavily affected by the virus.

Price says, “The trick in making a vaccine is can you scale the vaccine that you’ve made to be able to make a certain number of doses, can you test that vaccine quickly and efficiently and then can you get it into patients? And that’s where we have an edge as well on the other companies that are out there.”

Furthermore, to ensure safety, the company says it did not use a living nor killed virus for the creation of its vaccine. Treatments reportedly use adenovirus-based vector vaccines; used to target various cancers, diseases and infections.

Additionally, the vaccine is reportedly a product of an $18.9 million contract entered into by the company with the National Institute of Health’s National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, last September.
